Eos is the Greek goddess of dawn, of the first light to reach the Earth. This suspension is a tribute to the column of Greek temples, whose archetypal form blends aesthetics and function indissolubly. The grooves, as well as decorative elements, are in fact an optical and perceptive strategy to streamline the cylindrical volume, enhancing its height and verticality. But they also give plasticity to the form, making its surface vibrate when struck by indirect light. A play of chiaroscuro that is even more distinct when numerous pendants are grouped together and mark out the space just like the columns of a temple gilded by the light of dawn. An iconic piece, an aerial micro-architecture, a sculpture made of matter and light.
