The Onis storage collection draws inspiration from the suspended structures of bridges, where the pursuit of lightness and visual balance defies the gravitational laws of matter and the trials of time. In Onis, the marble storage units are entirely cantilevered, defined by pure volumes repeated in linear sequences and supported only at their ends by monolithic metal bases. Few elements are involved, emphasising the structural rigour, lightness and horizontal lines of the construction. The marble units are supported by two metal L-shaped brackets that embrace them at the sides and rear, alluding to the raw aesthetic of industrial semi-finished products. The base units are finished with textured surfaces, oxidised, acid-etched or burnished effects, which contrast with the refined patina of the stone. An L-shaped groove runs along the entire front of the unit: it makes the fronts easier to open and echoes the design language of the base units in both material and proportions, creating a tactile element of outstanding quality. Even inside the compartments, the exposed edges have been softened with smooth transitions and then lacquered, whilst the tray drawers boast a fine metal construction and are enhanced by a leather base.

VOnis is a sumptuous yet functional collection that is versatile and fully customisable, making it suitable for both sophisticated contemporary spaces and settings with a historical or eclectic atmosphere. It is ideal for villas and private residences, but can also enhance refined commercial interiors and executive offices.
