Twiga Metal is a reinterpretation of the wooden ‘Twiga’ chair designed by Draw Studio in 2018. In this stripped-down version, the materic finish and the thickness of the burnished steel blades, always coupled, become the new dominant features. The silhouette is rational, the legs plumb downwards, while the volumes are emptied, almost as if it were a skeleton freed from its pulp. Twiga M is naked, pure matter, transfiguring and merging into the surrounding space. Twiga is an exercise in form, proportion and construction. It is an iconic, brutal, radical object, as elegant as it is rugged.
