Like its older brother Folio, Folio Table Round is a pure, timeless volume defined by thin metal sheets. A rational sculpture, which through the strength of the sign, reduced to its quintessence, thins the material into white reflective surfaces. A scenic presence as sober as it is bold, as elemental as it is iconic. Pairs of parallel vertical lines rise from the base and meet two other parallel horizontal ones, which run along the contour of the top and define its geometric rigour. A rhythm of solids and voids, marked by blades of light and grooves in shadow, enlivened by contrasts of materials and finishes.
